Bow Tie Cinemas 115th Anniversary

Bow Tie Cinemas celebrates their 115th Anniversary

Founded by B.S. Moss in 1900, four generations of family ownership have guided Bow Tie Cinemas from its origins in Vaudeville to its current holdings of fifty-five theaters in the eastern United States with heavy concentrations in the New York DMA, southern Connecticut, the mid-Atlantic and the New York State Capital Region.

One form of celebration includes an in-theater ‘text to win’ concession promotion running through September 7, 2015 where Bow Tie customers will have the opportunity to win a trip for two to the American Music Awards in Los Angeles, as well as instant prizes like movie tickets and popcorn and soda combos.

Bow Tie Cinemas rang in 2015 with the completion of the renovation of their flagship Chelsea Cinemas in Manhattan. The all-new Chelsea Cinemas’ upgrades include: luxury seating and reserved seating, a new lobby and interior box office, concession stands and enhanced food offerings, and a permanent photography exhibit curated by The International Center of Photography. The latter half of 2015 will feature a complete remodel of the Regent 8 in South Norwalk, CT will begin. The new Regent will feature luxury full electric reclining chairs with reserved seating, full bar service and gourmet dining options.

For 115 years, from silent films and black & white to 3D and BTX®, the customer continues to be the most important part of the film industry. Family owned and dedicated to service, Bow Tie Cinemas looks forward to providing an excellent moviegoing experience to its customers for many years to come!

Thank you for choosing Bow Tie Cinemas. See you at the movies!
